Akamas for Dynatrace AppEngine

In this video, we preview the Akamas app for Dynatrace AppEngine – an autonomous optimization solution that helps customers reduce costs and improve the reliability and performance of applications.

This app brings Akamas optimization directly into Dynatrace, allowing customers to optimize Kubernetes application configurations with smart recommendations from Akamas from the Dynatrace UI. Our app identifies cost reduction opportunities, reliability improvements, and performance enhancements. 

Our goal-driven optimization solution allows you to select either cost reduction or performance enhancement as your optimization goal. When reducing costs, Akamas AI takes into account your performance requirements, such as response time or error rate, to recommend cost-effective configurations that don’t slow down your application. Additionally, it can tune Kubernetes container CPU and memory limits, or even JVM level parameters.
